Sponsor Me

At EAP it is important to us that each horse we rescue has the time it needs to recover. Many of our horses have gone through a significant period of trauma prior to rescue. Sponsorship is one way you can help ensure these horses are not “rushed” to adoption.  It is very important to us to give our horses every opportunity to find a successful partnership and a FOREVER home. Your donation will help give the much needed second chance it deserves!

Rhythm

Rhythm, affectionately known as "The Walmart Greeter". When someone pulls up, Rhythm is the first to greet everyone! What can we say about Rhythm? She is such a sweet soul and so sensitive to peoples emotions and feelings! Rhythm came to us in 2023. She came from a loving home who, due to illness, could no longer care for her. We feared that Rhythm would end up in a bad situation if she was given away, so we decided to bring her to EAP to become our newest sanctuary resident. Everyone who spends even a few minutes with her [...]

Bayou

Bayou, was rescued from an auction in Turlock in 2016. He is a beautiful 14yo bay gelding who unfortunately, is not rideable due to kissing spine. Bayou is a big boy at almost 16h.  He is a very sweet horse but still a little unsure. He is halter broke, leads, ties, loads and stands for farrier! Due to Bayous back issues, he is a permanent sanctuary resident of EAP and available to be sponsored!! Sponsor Bayou Adopt Bayou

Kali

Kali is our "Class Clown"!  She has enough personality for everyone and keeps us laughing. Kali is a Devils Garden BLM mustang mare who was gathered as a yearling in 2000. In 2015, we were contacted about taking her in because she could no longer be used for dressage due to a stifle issue and her owners were going to put her down. We just could not let that stand and brought her to EAP, and we're so happy we did! Life at EAP would not be the same without her! Since coming to EAP she has become a [...]
