Shade

If you are looking for a super sweet project horse…Shade is your guy!  Rescued from auction, Shade was in very bad shape when we rescued him.  Even with everything he had been through, he still has a wonderful mind and is a very sweet gentle boy!

Shade came to us as a stud colt and was gelded, although he has never displayed any stud-like tendencies.  He just wants to hang out and “be”.  He tends to be lower on the totem pole and avoids conflict with other horses.  He really likes being with people and is just a mellow guy.  We think Shade will make a wonderful 4H project horse.  He is halter broke and has had some ground work.  We can’t say enough about how wonderful this little guy is..not to mention he is super cute! Shade is definitely not a horse to overlook!

Shade is currently in foster care and is looking for a sponsor until he finds his forever home!
