A horse doesn’t care how much you know,
until he knows how much you care.

what we do
At EAP, our goal is to, when possible, save “at risk” horses before they go through the slaughter pipeline.
Through our programs we:
- Assist horse owners who have fallen on hard times, keep their horses.
- Assist owners in keeping their horses until a Foster home can be provided
- Re-homing assistance when there is an immediate need.
- Rescuing at-risk horses
re-homing a horse
We offer re-homing assistance to horse owners who are no longer able to care for their horses. Through partnerships with rescues across the country we will aid horse owners in marketing their horses, screening potential homes and placement.
